I GOT WATERBOARDED!!!!
Sept. 23, 2008 President Bush gave his final address to the United Nations in one last ditch effort to unite the body around his Global War of Terror.
I was there with members of World Can’t Wait to honor our president’s legacy by allowing myself to be mock-waterboarded following a speech I made decrying his global fascist regime.
Though this was a dramatization, what I experienced while under the bucket was horrifying in that I knew WE’VE ACTUALLY DONE THIS TO PEOPLE! And it is torture, and it doesn’t matter who we’re doing it too, it’s illegal and abhorrent.
- Me speaking at a rally in Dag Hammarskjold Park. George Bush is across the street speaking in the U.N. for the last time as our president.
- Me getting “bagged” for the first time.
- This is what waterboarding does to people.
- Even with a little protection, a horrifying, cruel and unusual experience. Waterboarding IS torture.
- Waterboarding IS torture.
- America, STOP TORTURING!
