I attended both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions this past August/September. What I saw and participated in, I will truly never forget: people power come to life, right here in the United States.

I did not know it at the time, but what I experienced at the DNC and RNC would lay the groundwork for the final Presidential debate action I planned and executed with Kris Goldsmith and others Oct. 15.

In Denver, we marched all over the city, conducted simulated combat patrols, were rocked by Rage Against the Machine and marched on the convention with 10,000 supporters at our back where we had an incredibly tense stand-off with the Denver Police before Barack Obama was forced to acknowledge our group.

At the RNC, we marched on the convention, however McCain artfully defused us by having one of our members escorted into the convention before being ignored and escorted out while the rest of us marched away from the premises.
